These are Hot Tamales; the original ‘to-go’ food.

Small delicious packets wrapped in corn husks or banana leaves. Tamales today are a staple of Mexican cuisine with fillings, many regionally different, with flavors and ingredients limited only by your imagination.

Along with several other varieties, we will feature:

Yucatan Tamale
Banana leaf wrapped around carnitas and maza, covered in Azteca sauce (pictured above)

and

Salmon Tamales

Wild-caught salmon, delicately seasoned and served steamed in red corn husks with saffron masa, and topped with our own red pepper sauce (pictured here).
